The Deskspace team worked tirelessly to find the exact material that would showcase the sun's unique way of emitting light. The material had to be able to encase the light while also emitting it gently and evenly.

The Sun was not created overnight, and neither was the DeskSpace Solar Mood Lamp; in fact, the team spent a long time perfecting the shape and glow so that you could enjoy the quality.

The team uses Golden Calcite mined in Mexico, and they only use mines that are environmentally friendly and have a plentiful supply of the material. Deskspace's artisans hand shape each gemstone into a perfect sphere before meticulously polishing it to a glass-like gleam. This takes time, but getting it right is not worth rushing.
