TACS Unveils SOODA, Its First-ever Solar Watch
SOODA wristwatch is a true testament to blending sustainable solar power with TACS’ signature simplistic design.
When Nature Meets Watch-making
SOODA pays homage to nature not just in its functionality, but in its design as well. Aptly named SOODA, a creative wordplay of 'Solar' and 'Panda', the watch features two sub-dials on its face that mimic the endearing eyes of a panda that also double as solar cells boasting a robust power reserve of 90 days. These solar cells harness sunlight to power the watch, reflecting a seamless integration of form and function.
The design concept symbolises the cyclical relationship between nature and time, with the solar power reserve embodying the sustainability inherent in natural processes. It's a thoughtful reminder of our responsibility to the environment, echoing the brand's commitment to sustainable practices. It's not just a timepiece, it's a statement of eco-conscious living. One of these solar cells also serves as a battery indicator, while the other is a 24-hour dial, adding a dash of practicality to the aesthetic design. A date window strategically positioned at 6 o'clock further adds to the watch's functional features.

Sustainable Throughout
Crafted from resilient 316L stainless steel, the watch is not only durable but also water-resistant up to 5 ATM, elegantly combining sturdiness with style. Complementing its sustainable ethos, the SOODA wristwatch sports a gender-neutral 38mm case, a size that allows it to grace any wrist with optimal comfort, making it an ideal accessory for everyone, every day.
The SOODA wristwatch is completed with an Italian vegan leather strap, carrying with it the endorsement of the "Pelle Conciata" tag. The tag is a testament to the fact that the strap comes from Italian tanneries that operate in full compliance with established vegetable tanning standards.
Available in two versatile colour-ways - a warm tan and a classic dark brown, providing options to suit different tastes and styles. The timepiece also features Super-Luminova details that highlight its unique design in the dark.
